The NIFAST Home Inspectors Program
Thanks for your interest in NIFAST’s online fire safety inspection training and certification. You have taken the first step to increase your current book of business by providing fire safety inspections in tandem to the homes you are currently inspecting.

We are also proud that you embrace our “fire safety” cause, and pleased that you recognize education’s important role in ensuring safer lives. NIFAST fire safety inspections show homeowners how much there is to know about fire education, fire precautions, and more importantly, how they can outfit their home residence to become fire safe. As a certified NIFAST member your residential inspections will promote a fire safe culture.

What does it mean to be a NIFAST-Certified Home Inspector? It means:
  • You have learned and understand the importance of home fire safety education.
  • You understand and recognize potential fire risks without searching through cumbersome fire codes.
  • All homes that you inspect have an improved fire safety profile.
  • Access to NIFAST’s robust marketing organization, and great tips and tools to increase your inspection business.
  • You are now part of the life-saving NIFAST organization.
  • Your NIFAST certification will be valid for one year. NIFAST requires annual recertification of your membership with the following steps: 1. Take the pass the recertification test; 2. Perfom at least five NIFAST home inspections in the prior 12 month period; 3. Submit renewal fees of $95.00 to remain an active member of the NIFAST organization
